Do you Travel?
I do! I would love to travel to capture your elopement, family photos, or to work with you on building a gallery of images for your business. My base prices apply to anyone within an hour of where I live. If I travel further, travel rates do apply. Please reach out and we can discuss!
How long have you been doing this?
I started taking pictures for fun about 9 years ago. After a couple years of learning my camera, how to work with light, and some other photography basics, I decided to make a go of it and started booking clients.
How many photos do we get?
I don't have a set number of photographs I give. I believe that you should received every photo from your session that is worth editing! My family sessions usually receive a gallery of somewhere between 60 and 100 images. Weddings are much more, but will depend on the size of the wedding.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be in an online gallery, delivered via email. My prices do not include any printed photos, but there will be an option to purchase prints through the gallery. They will be printed and shipped by Miller's Print Shop, which is who I use for all of my personal photos. I do receive a small commission when you order prints.
Do you retouch photos?
I do edit my photos in Lightroom. I want your photos to accurately reflect the moment, and stand the test of time. For that reason, I do not use filters as they often create colors that are not accurate to the scene and setting.
Whats your turn around time?
I am a mother of four who works another job outside of photography. That being said, I try my best to get your photos to you in a timely manner. You can expect the following timeline, unless we discuss a faster turn around time.
Family sessions: 2 weeks
Weddings: 4-6 weeks
Commercial Shoots: 2-4 weeks
How do we book you?
It's best to reach out through the contact page on my website. Once I receive your request, we will connect to set a date and choose a location.
Can you help us with planning?
I sure can! I'm happy to help you choose the best location in your area, and can also help with outfit choices / colors that photograph best.
How far out do you book?
I don't have a hard and fast rule for this. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. Reach out and we'll get something on the books whether it's next month, or next year!
What should we wear?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in! If you want to dress up, dress up! If you want to show up in tattered jeans and a hoodie, please do! We will create beautiful images that you will love for years to come either way.
Do you offer trades?
On occasion, I will trade photos for a product I already use and love, but I prefer to pay for my products, and be paid for my photos. That being said, don't be afraid to ask...especially if you have an amazing vacation home and wanna trade photos for a stay ;)
